We got the kids up this morning to go to my all-time favorite store, Michaels. They were having a crafting demonstration and the kids only had to pay $5 for the materials. Anton and Isay were to young and too old, respectively, so they went to Best Buy with Bobby while Paula and I attended the demonstration. One hour later, Paula had two leather bracelets and one leather bag tag with 3 baby Sharpie pens.

Paula was shy at first, but I could tell she enjoyed herself. The braiding activity was particularly difficult. The crafts instructor, Miss Manda, said it would her one hour to figure it out and had a terrible headache afterwards. Paula got the technique after one demonstration from Miss Manda. That’s my girl!
