Too Busy to Blog

Posted by: Alexis In: Family| Leisure| Windsor

I can’t believe it’s been 5 days since my last blog post. Well, it’s happened, I’ve become too busy to blog.

We spent the weekend in Art’s place and when we’re there I usually forget to post.

Also, we’ve been planning for our very first Canadian vacation — a trip to Canada’s Wonderland in Toronto! We’ve got our train tickets, hotel reservations and two-day passes to Wonderland. The only thing left to do is buy our food supplies (we plan to save money by having a picnic outside the theme park instead of eating in the restaurants there) and pack our clothes.

I am stressed out because we only had one week to plan for this vacation. That is highly unusual for Bobby and me. We usually plan at least one month in advance.

The kids are excited. I just want to get the trip over with. I am anxious about not having a car to get around Toronto. But, at worst, we’ll take cabs. There are so many things to do in Toronto and we definitely won’t be able to see much of it. Fortunately, Toronto is only 4 hours away from Windsor. It’s easy enough to go back again and again.

Precise, Interesting Writing

“Alexis’ writing is always precise, to-the-point, and interesting. In UNICEF, she covered a range of topics from highly technical (health, education, child rights) to easy-to-read human interest stories of the struggles and triumphs of children and their families. Rarely was her work further edited!”
