Today we went to the Canada South Science City, an interactive science museum. It reminded me of Museo Pambata in Manila, although Science City is focused on science: outer space; technology; animals; environment; etc.

We got a kick out of encasing Paula in a giant bubble:

But the highlight of the trip was definitely digging for fossils:

To make sure there are enough fossils for everybody, kids are instructed to bring home only one fossil each and to bury again any extras they have.

By the way, for dinner tonight I cooked chicken teriyaki and a dish I named “Wilted Greens”. It’s a combination of bokchoy and baby spinach, and was inspired by my cousin’s tutorial. It’s a really easy dish but I didn’t like using oyster sauce with monosodium glutamate in it.

Lec, those kids do all the fun stuff - lucky ducks! Even Anton looked so engrossed with his digging - so cute! The wilted greens look yummy.

the MSG in oyster sauce is a bummer. but i love almost any veg with garlic and oyster sauce. let me know if you discover a healthier substitute.
