One of my readers asked, “How can I use Twitter to promote my free eBook?”
I've answered that question in this video:
First of all, you need a landing page — a web page where visitors sign up to get access to your freebie, or a page where they can download your ebook directly. Which one you create depends on what your goals are. If you want to build your list, then your landing page should have an opt-in form.
When your landing page is ready, you can begin promoting your ebook on Twitter. Remember the following:
Those are my top tips for using Twitter to promote your free ebook, or any other free content you want to share.
Did I forget anything? Do you have other Twitter tips you'd like to add? Or do you have follow-up questions?
Please post them in the comments below!

Lexi – this is about the most useful overview of how to use Twitter effectively that I’ve ever seen on video. I’ll be sharing this with my professional network of communicators who work full-time in the role. They’ll appreciate all the time saving tips you offer, as that’s one of the biggest challenges for PR pros/staffers/consultants.
Many thanks,
Sharon
@Sharon McMillan – I’m so glad you think this video will be useful to your network. I actually hesitated getting so detailed, because I thought, “Surely, everyone knows this by now!” But I reminded myself that everyone is at a different level. Thank you very much for the feedback!
