For some reason this past week, I've been getting lots of great ideas when I'm in the … bathroom!
Once I got ideas for how to rework my freelance writing website while I was on my knees scrubbing the toilet (honestly). Twice – including tonight – I got good ideas while taking a shower.
Maybe it's the relative silence and solitude. Maybe it's the flowing water. Maybe it's the new bathroom rugs I bought. Whatever it is, it appears that my wellspring of inspiration resides in our washroom. From now on, I'm putting a pen and notebook there.
